Under the Patronage of his Excellency the Minister of Health, and chairman of the Saudi Health Council, the National Heart Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, intends to hold the upcoming international conference “The Saudi 3rd ECMO Conference 2025” (Extra-Corporeal Life Support) in Riyadh from 24 – 26 May 2025. The conference is a continuum of the annual ECMO conferences held in Saudi Arabia starting with hosting the SWAAC ELSO conference (South West Asia and Africa Chapter of the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization) in 2022.
This recurring conference serves as a significant platform for professionals to gather and network, exchange knowledge, and collaborate on advancing the frontiers of this field. The Scientific program is intended to shed light encompassing the latest advancement, innovation and research, best and expanding best practices of ECLS. In addition, offering a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and collaborate with international experts in the field. Speakers from around the globe and expected attendance are from several fields including ECMO and mechanical support, intensive care medicine, cardiology and heart failure, Cardiac and Vascular surgery, pulmonary medicine, Anesthesia, Pediatric medicine, perfusion, respiratory care, and nursing among other health allied specialties from the multidisciplinary team.
The CME accredited Conference will be held over 2 days. It will proceed with pre-conference workshops conducted in high-fidelity simulation that is suitable for different healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of ECMO patients.
